My introduction might not be as interesting as other people's, but here it goes.
Who are you?
I am a 17 years old high school student who is interested in programming and computers in general. I am the kind of guy who really hates design related things, and really likes anything that's programming/ maths related.
A few months ago, a friend of mine showed me how a small program I made can actually be turned into a barely functioning RAT. I was shocked when I saw that, and that was the moment when I realised how thin the line is between hacking and programming. From that point on, I started doing research and trying to read as much on this subject as possible(while trying to ignore the HUGE amount of metasploit tutorials), and that was the moment I got introduced to reverse engineering. I'm still a newbie, but I am trying to learn as much possible.
Can you program? If yes, what languages?
Yes I do, I currently know C and python very well. I am also learning x86 assembly at the moment.
How'd you find us?
I was googling some stuff when I stumbled on your website haha!
How long have you been interested in computers/infosec?
I've been building computers as a summer job since I was 13, and I started programming 1.5 years ago. As for infosec, it has only been a few months.
That was it about me. I would like to hear the stories of how you started down below. Cheers!
