Hello all. I've been hanging around the IRC for a while, and I figure it's about time I join the forum.
Who are you?
I'm a professional red teamer; I get paid to be a bad guy. Companies hire my team to break in, hack things, and do just about anything necessary to get to their important data or assets. Then we tell them what they should worry about, and how they can fix it. I love what I do, and wouldn't trade it for anything. Outside of that, I like to game (DCS World, Dota 2), read (usually 3-4 books per week), and keep active.
Can you program? If yes, what languages?
I write the odd bit of code, but I'm no software dev. When I do write stuff, it's usually in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Most of the time it's for scripting stuff that I need to automate in the middle of an engagement; rarely anything public.
How'd you find us?
I don't remember; found a link somewhere.
How long have you been interested in computers/infosec?
Since I was very young. I've been tinkering with computers since I could talk, and once I learned I could bend them to my will, and make them do unexpected things, I knew I wanted to be a hacker. Turns out people will actually pay you to be a hacker, without the risk of getting arrested.
