I know I've been absent for a long time (life problems) however I have still been looking at the posts and the new members joining over time! If you are new I welcome you greatly to this website dear to my heart, and I'm sure you'll find its users rather nice. Per my return, I've decided to come with some recent news.
I had been alerted by a colleague to an article which pointed out that multiple North Korean hackers have in fact stole around 140,000 South Korean defense files.
However this hack is not old. In fact it happened to start in 2014, and was recently detected. The files stolen and I quote were "In the latest hack, documents stolen from the two companies contained the blueprint of the wings of F-15 fighter jets, an official at the cyber investigation unit told Reuters. Out of the total 42,000 documents stolen, around 40,000 were defense-related."
This entire situation could result in more political action between South Korea, North Korea, and yes the U.S.A. ( Not that it hasn't happened already really)
I wish you all a good day, and thanks for reading!
If you'd like to read further on this and also find out how it was pulled off feel free to go to one of my main sources in this "article" at: http://hacknowledge.in/2016/06/north-korean-hackers-steal-140000-defense-files-from-south-korea/
