This is definitely news. Put on your tinfoil hats!
Today, someone, probably using the Mirai botnet framework, launched a massive DDoS attack on Dyn's DNS servers. For those of you who don't know, Dyn is one of the largest DNS providers in the world.
This attack took down access to major sites, like GitHub and Spotify, for millions of users in the United States and Europe.
