I agreed with Cal0X initially
And then I read this
I think to a point ignorance is a choice; but, I think it's also a self defence mechanism.
Let's just say it how it is; the world is a mess; man dominates man to his injury; people have no natural affection, and people are only operating for their own selfish gain. How we're supposed to live has been completely distorted.
And people know it; oh boy people do know it. But they don't want to. They want to stick their head in the sand and be told, "don't worry, we have it under control".
Politicians tell people what they want to hear; big business, they tell people want they want to hear; the media, tell people what they want to hear. And people gobble it up like the scared; unstable individuals that humans are.
At the end of it all; people just want peace; they want freedom, and they want to just live their lives without any interruption.
So we may call them stupid; yet we continuously suffer. Should we blame people for taking the blue pill?
Do we choose to embrace the sometimes painful truth of reality or the blissful ignorance of illusion?
