As the title states, I’m curios as what you guys are using as OS.
I use Mac OS for my daily driver.
(xenial)[email protected]:~$ uname -a Linux localhost 3.18.0-17026-g0cc3b9494cbf #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri May 4 00:23:18 PDT 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I am using Kali as main distro. Will change to arch in few days.
Linux Poltergeist 4.15.0-kali2-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.15.11-1kali1 (2018-03-21) x86_64 GNU/Linux
Windows 10… (slinks away)
Heh… Yeah, I’m using ChromeOS. (dear god what bad life choices have led me here…)
Workstation - Windows 10
Laptop - Windows 10
Home server - Arch
Remote Server 1 - Debian
Remote Server 2 - Arch
Pi - Arch
Portable m.2 USB-C Drive - Arch (I can plug in and boot it on pretty much any device.)
Archlinux -> Daily work
Gentoo -> Daily
BSD for some servers
Solaris for some others!
i have to use windows 10 as a daily driver because linux isnt great with all my music production software but i have a little laptop that dual boots elementary OS and android 7.0 x86
I have to tell you. Because I run Arch. It’s the law.
I run multiple daily drivers as well.
- MacOS on the go
- Ubuntu 18 for dev/re
- Windows 10 for random gaming sessions
- another UNIX distro every few month because I’m bored
I’m too lazy to install Arch i use Antergos as my daily driver.
Xfce is my Desktop Environment and i3-gaps as WM
Laptop 1: OSX
Laptop 2: Windows 10
Server: Debian (Mostly used)
i also pay for a mac osx cloud instance like every other month when i want to use xcode and nice to have i message on laptop. i was running a vm locally before that and it was just too slow. if i cant have 20 tabs open in both OS’s simultaneously im not happy
Windows 10 on my Workstation
ArchLabs & Windows 10 on my Laptop
Windows 10 desktop (used to have arch but hdd died …)
Manjaro on Laptop
Laptop 1: Arch (Anarchy)
Laptop 2: macOS
Laptop3: Windows 10
I’m using Windows 10 on my Desktop, Raspbian (well on my Raspberry pi 2) and Android 7.0 on my Mobile.
Im thinking of doing some Arduino articles, I’ve never used pi, how do you like it? (not to steal the topic away, so maybe pm me)
