I wanted to talk about something which I think we all should know, and its something that is utterly prominent now. So much have happened in the past year, and the consequences we're facing now together as the mutual species we are, it's scares me knowing that with what we currently have going on in our society can lead us into a future with uncertainty of the health & wealth as we know it today.
Why is it The Greatest Show to date?
Well, you see, Mr. Robot unlike so many other tv-shows, represents Freedom, Freedom of privacy, equality, justice & anti-corruption. Essentially some of the biggest issues we as humans face in our world today.
We all know corruption unfortunately is present in the top of the hierachy, and we as a 'minority' have to obey these despicable circumstances. Nonetheless, Mr.Robot is the first show in my opinion to properly address the magnitude of this worldwide dilemma. Corruption comes various forms, and one of the most popular ones is the one we see involving money.
Aside from the example in the series being E(vil)-Corp who's treating all these citizens 'unfairly', the principle and moral of the story remains the same. I really admire this series because of its authenticity and correlation to the real world. I can not only relate to a few of the things in the series, but I can also recognize various of the scenarios from it too - which im sure most of you can also.
What I wanted to address with this magnificent correlation between the series and our actual world, is that we should all learn and realize that what's happening in Mr. Robot is not entirely fiction in terms of the context behind the fictional occurrences.
We're living in a society with racism, prejudice, oppression, poverty, corruption, hatred and I could make a whole list. The series clarifies very well several of these aspects in great detail. We as citizens have to wake up from this imaginary world we're living in, where we think that everything is the way it's supposed to be. I personally believe that a lot of what we're being shown is an ilusion as to what's actually going on.
After all, we're just a minority right?
