Can Responder take down infrastructure?

So I’m in a situation where Responder could be useful but I somehow remember hearing that i could take down the network with the LLMNR poisoning.

Would running Responder WPAD to certain targeted machines pose a real risk of taking down the infra?

Also depends in infra security since it may be disabled also in the domain setting but where you’ve peed inside the network you can do further

Llmnr will only help you capture credentials
